The prosecutor of the Poltava Regional Prosecutor's Office Roman Galiuk didn't pass the interview during the attestation of prosecutors of regional prosecutor's offices.
This information became known after the results of interviews of prosecutors of regional prosecutor's offices were published on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
WikiInvestigation`s investigation “Prosecutorial Landlords. Part 2” ,published on the project`s platform, states that a prosecutor from the Poltava Regional Prosecutor's Office Roman Haliuk pretended to be selling land in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and for several years in a row declared the money he allegedly received as an advance for the alienation of land.
But the most interesting part of this story appeared when it came to a person who paid the prosecutor advances for this land.
"Citizen of Ukraine Repin Oleg Pavlovych at the time of concluding the preliminary agreement and providing advance payments to the prosecutor was already a citizen of the Russian Federation (won the election in September 2014) and is also a member of the faction (deputy association)" UNITED RUSSIA "and according to the website" "Peacemaker" is a person who contributed to the Russian occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea", states the author of the investigation.
This information was sent by the experts of the Innovation and Development Foundation to the official mail of the Office of the Prosecutor General before the interviews with the regional prosecutors started.
As noticed, according to the analytical note by the experts of the Innovation and Development Foundation, the attestation within the framework of the prosecutorial reform was better passed by less wealthy prosecutors. Wealthy prosecutors hardly managed to pass or did not pass at all.
Regional prosecutors who had so-called "risk factors" - whether a large amount of real estate, or a large number of vehicles or savings - did not even apply for attestation.
