The Kyiv region reserve bought a restaurant from a businesswoman and then leased it to her

December 18, 2018, the Pereiaslav National Historical and Ethnographic Reserve entered into a contract with Svitlana Vasylivna Tymchenko, a citizen of Ukraine, for the purchase of a land plot and a 50-seat restaurant.

The total cost of the restaurant and the land under the contract was 19,989,387 hryvnias or 716,979 dollars.

This information is mentioned in the investigation "The reserve bought a restaurant", published on the WikiInvestigation platform.

“You may think that it is a common practice to have a restaurant in the reserve and the opportunity to earn extra money for an already unprofitable enterprise. But the interesting fact is that the restaurant and the land plot were leased to the same Ukrainian Svitlana Vasylivna Tymchenko”, says the author in the investigation.

Moreover, the management of the reserve purchased the restaurant and the land despite numerous lawsuits filed against the reserve by its employees for not paying salaries.
